Deodorants Safe for Fragrance Mix I Allergy
Fragrance Mix I allergy can be diagnosed with a EU 26 Fragrance Series patch test at your dermatologist.
Fragrance Mix I is one of the most prevalent cosmetic allergens in the EU 26 standard series, affecting approximately 11.5% of patch-tested patients. It comprises eight fragrance chemicals — including cinnamal, eugenol, and geraniol — that are required to be individually disclosed on EU cosmetic labels when present above threshold concentrations. Products labeled "fragrance-free" may still contain these compounds. Every product below has been checked against all eight constituent ingredients.
Note
Fragrance Mix I and Fragrance Mix II test for different fragrance chemicals and are separate allergens. If you are sensitive to both, use SkinGlow's multi-allergen filter to exclude products containing ingredients from either mix.

How we check for Fragrance Mix I
We check each product's INCI ingredient list against all eight constituent ingredients of Fragrance Mix I: cinnamal, cinnamyl alcohol, eugenol, isoeugenol, geraniol, hydroxycitronellal, lily aldehyde (amyl cinnamal), and oak moss absolute. Any product containing one or more of these ingredients is excluded. Source: EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009.
